Eczematosis Dermatitis
Eczematosis Dermatitis, a frequent pathology, which affects males and females as well. This pathology on a clinical level is described particularly as a skin irritation characterized by red, flaky skin, sometimes with cracks or tiny blisters. Dermatitis is extremely itchy, but scratching damages the fragile skin and exacerbates the problem.
In the chronic phase it is characterized by eritema, lichenification and pigmentary changes (increased or decreased) with excoriated papules and nodules. The pruritis is a symptom almost always associated to this pathology both in the acute phase as in chronic one.
In the Eczema the Crenotherapy allows a reduction of the inflammatory factors (exudation, pruritis, hyperemy) and a riconstitution of the altered epidermis (cheratoplastic effect of the thermal treatment).
In the Contact Dermatitis, the balneotherapy enables a repairing action on the skin hydrophilic mantle, a lenitive action over the scraching, a positive modification of the skin reactivity.
For those pathologies there is not only a therapeutic role in the Crenotherapy, but also a preventive and rehabilitation role, deduceable from the long lasting of the results during 3-6 months.
Those hypothesis have been confirmed from studies case-control done with water bicarbonate-calcium-magnesium on subjects affected by Atopic Dermatitis*
